Life Drawing - Reclining male

I did this a few months ago at my life drawing class. Done in soft pastel on Murano Paper. About 45 mins.

Clouds and sunbeams
I had my wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago and my husband took me away for a night or two to Chester. While there we went across to see a National Trust property, Lyme Park, and went for a walk in the surrounding countryside.
There were some lovely cloud formations all over so I took some snaps.

Life Drawing

Here's another pastel drawing I did in Life class. 50 mins on A2 sugar paper with Unison pastels (and a few Stabilo Carbothello Pastel pencils)

Life Drawing Pastels
I've been very busy of late, so have been amiss in putting anything new up. Here's some recent pastel drawings from some life drawing classes that I've just about been able to squeeze into my schedule.
This one was done over two 45 minute sessions
And this one was just 45 minutes:
I wish the poses were over a longer time.

Thinking of sketching reminds me of life drawing..
Thinking of sketching reminds me of life drawing and that I miss doing it. I was going to a life drawing session that got canned because the venue was closing. So then I tried to go to one that was further away, which was really good because it was longer and had two models... but it was late on Friday night's and very inconvenient to get to, so I stopped at the end of last year. I'd really like to get back into it.
Here's a pastel sketch from one of the last sessions. Because of the longer class length I was able to do colour work where previously I'd only been doing short pencil or charcoal sketches:
I've got most of my life drawing up on this thread HERE on the CGTalk website, if anyone's interested (obviously loads of nudity!)
